" Scaling-up HIV viral load in resource-limited settings: Where are we? Challenges, solutions and perspectives"
Increased access to viral load testing is one of the conditions needed to reach the 3rd "90" of the global goal set by UNAIDS by 2020, which means 90% of patients receiving ART are virally suppressed. However, access and implementation of viral load testing face a number of obstacles in resource-limited settings. In light of the OPP-ERA project, funded by Unitaid and ANRS and implemented in Western and Central Africa, this symposium will explore and discuss the existing solutions and the remaining technical, economical and political challenges.
The symposium is hosted by Solthis, Expertise France, Sidaction under the scientific direction of ANRS and funded by Unitaid.
